Then the bracing rhythms of Astor Piazzolla’s Bandoneon Concerto, “Aconcagua,” ahead of his musical gem “Adiós Nonino”—featuring Peter Soave, the world’s foremost master of the bandoneon and concert accordion. Finally, “the fiery soprano”—Catalina Cuervo—takes the stage for a sizzling-hot performance of Manuel de Falla’s The Three-Cornered Hat.
